  There was a lack of basic resources and support, especially for children with specific needs. Achieving a high standard of education was not a priority, the main aim of the management seemed to be simply to get as much money out of the parents as possible.

  I went to CBS for about 6-7 years. And I hated it. Probably because I could already speak Spanish. The girls in my year where so mean. And boys always messed about. Some of the teachers don't know how to control us. Its a good schools but at the same time its a bit of a waist of money.

  A school that is desperately trying to give the impression that they are an elite institution but except the high fees there's nothing elite about them.

  This school is just pure marketing. Sending our 9 years old son to it was just like sending him to a summer camp to have fun while speaking in English. His time there was a waste of time and money. His school grades seemed to be great, but when we moved him to another school we could realize how poor his background was.

  Their main selling point is the use of english, but the overall level of English is low and students with very little English were put in normal classes with no support. Your children would be just as well off going to state schools.

  Be severely warned about CBS, an organisation that quite frankly sickens me. I cannot believe they are still going after the disgusting and inhumane acts they have committed. All decisions made are based on money and the director know less about education than a child, and is merely using it as a business. They will draw pupils and teachers in to the company with offers of excelling in their English, or a fabulous career. DON'T fall for the trap! They gave me a loan for a car under the table, just to get me in with a contractual commitment. Most horrifyingly of all, I can tell you with confidence that they once sacked a teacher for suffering from depression just a week after he had attempted to take his own life, such great mental health support! He would have taken this to the press at the time, but he was left crushed after their immoral decision. As well as refusing to pay maternity pay to a teacher that ended up in court, they also prioritise the amount of support given to their students based on parental financial contributions. What's more, they gave food poisoning to many children at their summer camp of 2015 and denied it, hence why court cases are still pending. Furthermore, very few of the pupils are international, they are in fact the spoilt brats of the Spanish Elite and very capable of bullying anyone less fortunate than them. Although, staff will pretend to have the pupils at the heart of their decisions like the deputy director and head of secondary, nevertheless, they are still puppets of the director that would sooner get rid of a fellow staff member than risk their salary.
